Through a series of black and white video portraits and still images, ‘The Pride in the Panther’ places a spotlight on various dynamics of a black people in the UK, such as men, women and the family, using musicians and artists as the models. Celebrating both personal success stories in the community of what you can become, as well as a general success story of black people in the UK driving forward the culture on a global scale despite being the minority and having barriers placed against us.
